Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about NixIt: what it is, who it's for, pricing, privacy, and the research behind it.

What is NixIt?

NixIt is the only platform bridging neurodivergent individuals, families, and professionals.

It gives the person at the center a calendar, tasks, goals, and a Circle of the people they choose, on the web and by text, and it gives coaches, tutors, and programs one workspace to support them. Individuals and families use it free. NixIt AI, Inc. is based in Broomfield, Colorado, and every feature has to reduce cognitive load or create joy, or it does not ship.

Who is NixIt for?

NixIt is built for neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD and autism, the families who support them, and the coaches, tutors, and programs who work with them.

It is built for the moments other tools skip: the young adult diagnosed late who is figuring out doctor's appointments, bills, and job applications, and the parent carrying that executive-function labor in their head. It is built by neurodivergent people, for neurodivergent people.

Is NixIt really free?

Yes.

The calendar, tasks, goals, Circles, Pathfinder, and the app are free for everyone, with no card and no clock. The only thing that costs money is the assistant you text.

What does the $10 get me?

A conversation.

Text NixIt anything: the thing you're avoiding, a question, a plan for tomorrow. It breaks it down, remembers, and checks back. Turn it on or off any time.

Do I need to download an app?

No.

Text works. The web app works on any phone or computer, and you sign in from a link. There is no app store download and no account to create before you start, so support does not depend on owning the newest phone or having reliable internet.

Who sees what?

You decide.

You choose who joins your Circle and what each person can see. Nothing is shared by default, sharing is reversible, and there are no backdoor dashboards or deficit reports. A teenager's conversations belong to the teenager.

My coach or program uses NixIt. What do I pay?

Nothing.

Your account is free and it's yours. If they cover NixIt by text, the assistant is on for you. If you leave the program, you keep your calendar, your Circle, and your account.

How do professionals pay?

One seat per professional, monthly.

Practitioner is $59, Coordinator is $99, and Admin is $149. The individuals and families a seat supports join free. Book a demo and we set your team up with you.

How is NixIt different from other ADHD and executive function apps?

Most executive-function apps assume you can open an app, finish a multi-step setup, and keep a streak alive, which are the exact things ADHD and autism make hard.

NixIt starts with a text on any phone, treats a missed day as a normal day, and connects the people around you through your consent instead of surveilling you. No other tool puts the individual, the family, and the professional on the same plan with the person in control.

Is NixIt a replacement for a therapist or coach?

No.

NixIt is not a therapist, a coach, or a person, and it never pretends to be. It is daily infrastructure that fills the space between sessions: a professional sees a person about an hour a week, and NixIt carries the plan through the other 167. It is a bridge to the humans in your life, not a replacement for them.

What research is NixIt based on?

NixIt's design is grounded in more than 180 peer-reviewed studies on neurodivergence and executive function.

One anchor is Moseley et al. (2026, Autism in Adulthood, N=4,589), which found that autistic adults ranked crisis apps last and ranked daily, autism-specific, and peer support highest. That is the gap NixIt fills: everyday support before a crisis, not a hotline after one.

What does NixIt offer coaches, tutors, and programs?

One workspace for the people you support and the people who support them: a calendar with Google sync, sessions, goals, forms, private notes, and chat with clients and families, with client Circles connected by consent.

The professional pays for a seat and the people they serve join free, and they keep their account after the program ends. No seat ever sees an individual's texts with the assistant, their journal, or another practitioner's private notes.
